How It Works

Laser Hair Removal works when a gentle burst of light targets brown pigment (melanin) in the root of the hair follicle, heating it and thus stopping the follicle growing more hairs.  The surrounding skin remains unaffected. Laser targets hair in the growing phase (Anagen) and as only a percentage of hair is growing at any one time, several treatments at monthly intervals are required, typically between 6 – 9 treatments dependent upon skin and hair type.
